Distortion Productions is thrilled to announce the addition of Charlotte, North Carolina’s IIOIOIOII (pronounced IO or eye-oh). IIOIOIOII has been an active band since 2012 and is best described as dark and atmospheric electronic synthpop taking inspiration from classic New Wave and Industrial music. IIOIOIOII takes on lush soundscapes and heavy melodic elements and combines them with hard-hitting beats. The single “Frozen Sea” along with the accompanying video is the first taste of their forthcoming album “Dreaming,” slated for release in the Fall of 2023 on Distortion Productions.
