Tribute To Lost Boys Released from Distortion Productions To Celebrate 100th Release

For its momentous 100th release, Distortion Productions has something truly special in store. The label’s owner, Jim Semonik, has always held a deep appreciation for the soundtrack of the 1987 film “The Lost Boys.” To pay homage to both the film and its iconic soundtrack, Distortion has curated a remarkable tribute.

From Chicago’s Go Fight’s high-energy rendition of INXS’s “Good Times” to God Module’s electrifying “Lost in the Shadows,” this album sets the mood for a vibrant party. Noteworthy tracks include Ashbury Heights’ haunting “Cry Little Sister” and Glass Apple Bonzai’s “I Still Believe.”

Every artist brings their best to the table, from Eva X covering Elton John, The Battlefront’s take on INXS, Adoration Destroyed collaborating with NØIR on The Doors, Sapphira Vee’s captivating rendition of Eddie & the Tide, to the sultry version of “Beauty Has Her Way” by Null Device.

The album reaches its zenith with Red Lokust’s “To the Shock of Miss Louise.”

So grab your copy, some comics, head to the beach in Santa Carla, and join the ranks of the lost. “Be One of Us: 1987 Revisited” is available on CD and all major digital streaming platforms via Distortion Productions.
