Taiwanese industrial force ANGER 奰 and HEXEN PROZESS unite in a powerful collaboration with their latest single, ‘The Purge,’ shedding light on contemporary witch hunts.

Scheduled for release on January 19th at 8:00 PM (GMT+8), The Purge is an unapologetically electronic track, boldly embracing punk influences both musically and lyrically. The song challenges the justification of ruining lives in the name of ideology, questioning whether such actions are a facade for hidden motives.

In the joint effort, ANGER 奰, led by its sole member BW, joins forces with John Gerteisen, the mind behind DIE SEKTOR classics like Deathkill and The Beating of Broken Wings (currently of HEXEN PROZESS). This collaboration aims to explore the dangerous intersection of noble causes, influence-building, and the potential for persecution masked behind a virtuous facade.

BW, the creative force behind ANGER 奰, expressed the inspiration behind the song, noting the exploitation of noble causes to establish influence and power. The Purge critically examines the contemporary landscape where individuals or entities can manipulate public sentiment to persecute, blackmail, or eliminate opponents, all while hiding behind a wall of perceived virtue.

The Purge is now available on Bandcamp, offering listeners a sonic exploration of these complex themes.

Looking ahead, ANGER 奰 and HEXEN PROZESS will reunite on the Outer Darkness: Inquisition Vol. 1 compilation, set for an early 2024 release on HEXEN PROZESS’s label, Outer Darkness Records (join ODR Discord for updates).
